Set on a glorious August day, everything about this wedding oozed elegance, joy, and personality—from the breathtaking ceremony to the wild dancefloor in the Library.
Morning Moments at Avington Park
One of the beautiful things about Avington Park is its space and flow. Jess & Jess chose to get ready on-site together, in different parts of the estate, which meant I could seamlessly move between the two, capturing those quiet, anticipation-filled moments before the ceremony began. There's something so special about documenting both sides of the morning—it paints such a full picture of the day from the very start.
The styling was effortlessly timeless. Jess wore a breathtaking gown designed by @madewithlovebridal provided by @laurenfrancisbridal, while the Jake looked razor-sharp in a custom tuxedo from @gievesandhawkes. With makeup by the talented @tarasangermakeup and hair by @bridalhairbyabby, the whole look was classic, modern, and entirely their own.
Ceremony in the Opulent Ballroom
Their ceremony took place in Avington Park's iconic Ballroom—a grand, opulent space that feels like something out of a period drama. Natural light flooded in through the tall windows, highlighting the beautifully soft florals by @business_isblooming that dressed the room with understated elegance. It was intimate, heartfelt, and filled with laughter—the perfect start to the day.
A Bentley, a Boat, and Alfresco Dining
After the confetti throw on the steps of the estate, Jess & Jake were whisked away in a classic Bentley and taken to the nearby river where they hopped aboard a boat and made their way back to their wedding reception—a dreamy, romantic entrance that felt straight from the pages of a novel.
The wedding breakfast was held alfresco in the Orangery, overlooking the sprawling lawns of Avington Park. With the summer sun beaming down and the scent of florals in the air, it was everything a warm August wedding should be.
Champagne Towers & Dancefloor Chaos
As golden hour set in, the party moved indoors for the evening reception. Before their first dance, Jess & Jake kicked off the night with a champagne tower—a moment that felt glamorous and joyful in equal measure. And then… the Library transformed. That refined space quickly turned into a wild, high-energy dancefloor with guests throwing shapes well into the night. It was pure chaos in the best possible way.
